Plavix (clopidogrel) keeps the platelets in your blood from coagulating (clotting) to prevent unwanted blood clots that can occur with certain heart or blood vessel conditions. Plavix is used to prevent blood clots after a recent heart attack or stroke, and in people with certain disorders of the heart or blood vessels. Amoxicillin (INN), formerly amoxycillin (BAN), amoxycillin (cilamox) in Australia[1], abbreviated Amox,Tormoxin (in India), is a moderate-spectrum, bacteriolytic, b-lactam antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. It is usually the drug of choice within the class because it is better absorbed, following oral administration, than other b-lactam antibiotics. It is also a treatment for cystic acne.
